While Kev and I were in Malaysia, green beans were not just green beans there. They had a type of green beans called green bean sprouts. It’s been a while since our last post because we are now third years and unfortunately there aren’t as many opportunities to go around and eat and write posts. BUT! Anyway, [...] Porridge, also known as congee, is made of white rice and my mom would always make it when I’m sick or when the weather is super hot or when we want to have something light. There are many types of congee. Some are made with meat in it, some are made with fish in it. [...] So, this is what I made for dinner. Yupe. Pork chops. It is spare ribs marinated in 南乳. It’s kinda hard to explain what 南乳actually is. I know it is basically fermented tofu and they season it in a specific way and it comes out red.
