So, this is what I made for dinner. Yupe. Pork chops. It’s so easy to make I feel like I’m cheating. Well, I kinda am. I used oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, corn starch and fresh cracked black pepper to marinate the pork chops and pan fried it with some butter.

This is 马来风光 from Banana Leaf. It was pretty good although I think it could use a little more belacan. It was very spicy though. The vegetable used is called watercress. It is hollow in the middle and really crispy.

This is from Banana Leaf in Houston. It is spare ribs marinated in 南乳. It’s kinda hard to explain what 南乳actually is. I know it is basically fermented tofu and they season it in a specific way and it comes out red. And the spare ribs are fried until golden brown. It was soooooo good. [...]
